About Vic...

Vic came to us from France as a coincidence, but one we have never regreted. His sire is Killiebrae Rob, a son of Derek Scrimgeour's Ben, one of the most used stud dogs in those years. His dam is Jess of Llanrug, previously owned and trained by H. Glyn Jones. Both were brought to France from Great Britain and worked sheep.

OBEDIENCE TRAINING

In fall 2004 Vic and I took part in a so called "Junior" class in KD Krim. It's something between pre-school and "the real thing". It's suited for those dogs, that are too old to go to pre-school and too young to take an exam in obedience.

AGILITY

Because of Vic's shoulder problems and his two surgeries we started agility at 13 months of age. He improved pretty fast, it was me, who had problems with handling, since I was used to work with Drim.
We competed in our first agility trial in the summer of 2005, after only 3 months of training. Vic was very insecure, i was very nervous, but we somehow managed to get a clean run and finished third, which got us our first ticket for class 2. We then quite quickly managed to get to A3, where we competed from June 2006 untill 2009, when we had to cut short our "career" due to Vic's health problems.

HERDING

Vic and Tomaž started herding more seriously and regulary in the fall of 2005. Vic was making good progress, he got to know his flanking commands, held his sheep well and kept his point of balance. Their first trial was end of may 2006 in Austria. Due to lack of time and practice opportunities they had to stop their work with sheep in 2009.

FOR THE END...

I hope, Vic will be able to take part in all our activities and that his medical situation is a part of the past.
