We are a group of Christians. We don't have our meetings in a particular building but meet in homes - therefore, we call ourselves a house church. Examples of this can be seen in the Bible. More about house churches can be read at this link: The Fifteen Theses. Of course we realize that we are only one part of a greater whole the universal Church therefore we have friendly contact and connections with other Christians, including those who don't meet in homes. Each of us has experienced, deeply experienced, that Jesus truly rose from the dead this means that he is alive and is in our lives in a real way. This experience of ours changed our lives for good. We receive love, joy and power from the risen Jesus each day and we want to share all of this with those who don't yet know Jesus. Like all Christians we also talk with God (some call this prayer), we have fellowship with him by singing songs (some call this praise and worship) and read the Message, which was given to us and inspired by God (also called the Bible). We always talk about what we read together, each contributing his or her own thoughts. If it's possible we also share a meal together and generally spend time together, enjoying one another's company. We are convinced that Jesus' life is best shown in changed relationships among people, in relationships which are founded on love, unselfishness, faithfulness, honesty, humility, devotion, patience and so on. We are pressing on to life like this together with a desire for deeper, intimate contact with God. More about this, what we believe, is more accurately explained on the page We believe. Where can you meet with us? Because we meet in our homes, we are not always in the same place. You can email us at this address: hisna.cerkev@volja.net or you can call (01) 365-16-12 (++386 1 3651612) and ask for Matja or Simona. |
