Bus departure from Ljubljana at 8 a.m. The scheduled route: Ivančna Gorica, Žužemberk, Podturn, Semič.

1. Prior to  arrival in Semič the guests will be welcomed by the Beekeepers' society Semič in the village Blatnik. There we are going to take a look at the beehive truck owned by the beekeeper Jože Sever. It is located at the edge of the forest near the main road. Afterwards the trip continues to Semič where Mr Jože Sever  is going to present his honey extractor room and the space he uses  for selling his products at home. Their home-made honey will be available to be tasted.

2.  In Brezova Reber a visit is planned at the small-scale beekeeper Anton Sever. His beehouse stands in an old garden on a nearby hill offering a nice view of most parts of Bela krajina. Here a traditional meal will be offered to the guests.

3.  On the way back to Semič the next stop is at the beekeeper Mirko Pavlin who is going to present his beekeeping and his room for selling beehive products.
 

4. In the vicinity there is a town square; there we will visit the town museum. The visitors will be greeted by the mayor of community Semič Mr Janko Bukovec. Beside the permanent museum collections we are going to see the beekeepers' exhibition  and the beekeeping photo exhibition. In the same building  we will take a look at the wine- growers' museum collection. The guests will have the opportunity to taste different sorts os Slovene honey, honey wine and several sorts of wine from the Bela krajina area. The guests will be offered belokranjska pogača, traditional bread which is baked on special occasions. In the immediate vicinity there stands a parish church which we are going to visit as well.

5. In the vicinity of Stranska vas we will take a look at the beehouse belonging to Janez and Franc Movern. Lunch will be prepared there in a lovely natural environment. A folk-dancing group will present the traditional national costume of Bela krajina and put on a performance. After lunch the guests can admire the sights in the close vicinity:

a) the Baroque church of the Holy Trinity at Vinji Vrh
b) the source of the Krupa river
