AGNESANA Shih Tzu

It is our pleasure to introduce our Shih Tzu to You. You can visit them on these pages. We have had Shih Tzu or they have had us since 1991.
We are members of KTP (Club for Tibetan Breeds of Slovenia), DKK (Dansk Kennel Klub), KSS (Klubben for Små Selskabshunde - Denmark), SST (Specialklubben for Shih Tzu - Sweden).

Our kennel is small; we have occasionally puppies available for reliable homes. Our Shih Tzu live with us and we want the same life for puppies as well. Shih Tzu simply deserve to be treated royally :-).

Early history and description: Shih Tzu were kept in temples as sacred dogs. They were occasionally given to the emperors of China. There they quickly became small temple dogs and they lived in the palace.

The court eunuchs carefully guarded them. They were also known as little lion dogs. Shih Tzu and the lion were considered sacred animals in China.

The Shih Tzu personality is one of the most important features. Shih Tzu are friendly and good companions to children and other dogs. They cherish human love and affection and make friends wherever they go!
